We really enjoyed our stay at Saffron Cottage. The cottage was large with a lot of usable living space, perfect for five adults. Joanna was very quick with communicating and very helpful for what we needed. There were a lot of small touches in the cottage which really made our stay. St Just was a lovely village to stay in and good to use as a base for exploring the area. Everyone we met in the village was very friendly and happy to chat. Overall we can't fault our stay and would book Saffron Cottage again without hesitation.
Fantastic little cottage in the heart of the village with great access to the peninsula. Enjoyed some fabulous coastal walks and can thoroughly recommend staying here 🙂
We had the most wonderful stay at Saffron Cottage! The cottage itself is the perfect base for exploring this beautiful part of the world, and Jo and Ian are fantastic hosts that have thought of everything. The cottage is located in the ideal place in St Just - the beautiful Cape and some fantastic pubs and cafes are all on your doorstep. The cottage is an amazing and cosy retreat - the perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. We'll definitely be back to visit again!
It's a very nice house. Larger than expected with some great touches. Joanna was a great host, the nearby Botallack mines and Porth Nanven beaches are a big plus. The house was clean and very homely and wasn't lacking a thing. We would love to stay again!
We had a wonderful weeks stay in Saffron Cottage. It had everything we needed and was in a super location. St Just is a lovely little area and it is also close to Penzance and St Ives where we spent time too. Joanna is a great host and very responsive to messages as well as offering tips on upcoming weather mid week. We would love to return again soon. We had a wonderful weeks stay in Saffron Cottage. Great value for money. As a familiy of six (four older teenagers), we had plenty of space, great internet, well stocked kitchen with all important dishwasher and washing machine. Parking outside the house is difficult, but there are locations for dropping off luggage and the central car park behind the Commercial pub is not too far aware. We really enjoyed St Just as a location. great walk down to the Cape and the Botallack Mine and the Crowns are within walking distance. Short drive to Sennen, Land's End and locations such as the Minack Theatre at Porthcurno.
We had a lovely time at saffron cottage. The garden is great for dogs and the cottage is spacious. Was grateful to find somewhere with two double beds! The location is great, only a few minutes walk to the centre of st.just and plenty of other places to visit nearby.
Joanna's home is simply the best Airbnb experience we have had. Everything one needs when wanting to find a home from home.
We had a wonderful stay at Joanna’s, very grateful to get away to the coast for a few days. The village is quiet and peaceful but has plenty going on, with lovely pubs (The King’s Arms do an excellent quiz!), cafes and shops. Joanna was an excellent host, very clear and communicative which was a comfort in these times. The cottage was perfectly located and very cosy - everything you’d want for a holiday in Cornwall! Thank you!
